       Boonlert is an Assistant Professor of Finance in Business School at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) and a research fellow at Research Institute for Policy Evaluation and Design (RIPED). Recently, he has gained three-year Research Career Development Grant (RSA) from Thailand Research Fund (TRF) and served as the Directors' Pool of State Enterprise of the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO). During 2014-2015, he was a visiting academic at Essex Business School (EBS) in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining UTCC in 2010, he gained over 10 years work experience in various business functions at Siam Cement Group (SCG) and CTI Group. He received B.Eng. (Electrical Engineering, Second-class honors, 1995) and M.B.A. (2003) from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and Ph.D. (Finance, 2010) from Essex Business School in the United Kingdom.

       His main research interests lie in the areas of Behavioural Finance, Expectations in Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Forecasting, Data Mining, Monetary Policy, Corporate Sustainability, Personal Finance and Investment Analysis. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, International Review of Economics and Finance, Management Decision, Socio-Economics Planning Sciences, Journal of Forecasting, European Journal of Finance and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money. He has been invited as the referee of International Journal of Forecasting, International Review of Economics and Finance, Global Strategy Journal, Journal of Decision Systems, Economic Modelling,  Journal of Business Economics and Management and International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics. He is now serving as the editorial board of International Journal of Comparative Management and Indonesian Journal of Sustainability Accounting and Management.
